Dismal day

Grey cloud cast

In the early morning light

She rises to the sadness of the past

Tears fill her eyes

As she secretly wishes

The brilliant sun would shine

Replacing the clouds in there opacity

Murky morning dew

Makes her face the pain

Deep within

Hidden

The shadows of there images

Haunting

Erasing the gentleness of those whom hold her heart

Reminders drifting as sheer

Swift thoughts

They whisper in her ear

Focusing on casting out all her fears

But she drowns in the silence of her mind

Voices fade

She can not escape

Her heart half full

Half empty

Broken 💔

Silence 🤫

  3. Ahhh, Nikki!! So sorry you have memories of the past haunting you!!! Been there, done that!! They can really grip you at times, to be sure!! So glad to know that you have so many of us who Love You and always send you positive energy and keep you in our thoughts and prayers to bring you joy and happiness! These memories will take some time to lock up deep in your heart. They can also be hard to keep there at times. They have a sly and sneaky way of going Rogue at times and show up in your dreams or daydreaming moments!!! I have found that it helps me to write about them as you have here and then to refocus on how much better I am in the present and to be happy and grateful for where my journey has taken me!!

    I know you have so much ahead to be happy and thrilled about and it will come and you will learn how to chain down those old memories, thoughts and feelings so they do not break free and intrude on your life unless you summon them to help you remember why you have so much to be happy and thankful for!!

Thanks chuck 💜 yes fleeting moments of the past do emerge and I try to dismiss the 13 years that could have ruined me had I not been tough little cookie …for some they never get out i was blessed to have the medical knowledge to know what was happening and the courage to dismiss love and love myself more 💜 thanks for the beautiful comment ❤ unconditional friends and love are hard to find …recently two very close friends came back into my life and I cant say enough how thankful I am for that!! One I just saw the other night and I feel blessed and like myself again…one has known me since 14 loves me and i got the chance by a great fortune to see him while he was here for a week…the other who has known me who also loves me is working on plan for us to catch up …i love them both and thank God I got the chance to tell them again and tell them sorry for letting someone dictate me keeping our friendships at bay….never again….

        So happy you have reconnected with unconditional friends that love you!! They are rare gems for sure!! Life opens doors you never even knew existed??? People cross our paths for a reason??? I do hope that you will hold to your – never again to any who seek to control or mold you instead of letting you be you!!! But then since
        you have been – RELEASED from your cage I have faith that you will only be you from here on out!!

And each is unique and special…i am quite busy I am still finding my balance between 2 jobs my 2 teens and my social and blogging life 🙃 its a lot to juggle …the chains will never bound me again…and yes I adore people who love me unconditionally ❤ as I love them back as such ❤

I am pretty good love 💘 I am going out tonight with my ex husband who I spent 20 years with who I am still best buddies with our daughter and his girlfriend who i also have known forever and a friend I have known since 14 who I haven’t seen in years…we are going out for drinks and dinner 💖 how are u 💖

      4. Yes my ex husband and I have been friends for almost 30 years i met him when I was 18 …glad your relaxing are u off tomorrow? I need a movie night lol but I work starting tomorrow until fri 🙃 two days are 10 to 11 hr days but I am happy about it…

      6. Yes like jaws movies 🎥 awesome and scary lol 😆 💖💖 I like drama movies and comedies to some degree horror movies around Halloween are good as long as there scary minus the gore 😀 ❤ i don’t like any bloody movies the world is too cruel to watch it on TV
