Hearing her cries in the dead of the night
Weary is she from the fight
He stands tall and brave
Beside her
To guide her
Giving his heart and hand
Promising a better life plan
If she will have him
Future of calm
Happiness and joy
Wiping the tears away
Listening to what he has to say
In this moment in time
Those tears fall
Like a waterfall
Blinded by pain
Scars so deep
Feeling ashamed
Letting those in before him
For he is gentle
Kind
Willing to fly through space
Time
No distance
Will stop him
For she is all he can see
Getting down on his knees
To be everything she needs
Forever
He loves her

      1. I dont believe that after what happened to me. I was a source for a narcissist and he will find another and “love bomb” her and crumble her world as he did mine. I dont believe in anything anymore because of him. I felt all that mushy stuff and believed it for almost 4 years.

    2. My Dear, I am very sorry to hear that the person who broke your heart is still exercising control over your heart and the way you feel. Remember that the opposite of love is not hate, it is “I don’t Care anymore” As long as your Ex still influences your thoughts, feelings and emotions is a sign that you have not gotten over him – that you have not “Let Go”.

      I had a similar experience and it was great for writing my poetry it was extremely hard on my soul and life until I got to the point of “Not Caring”! Please don’t let the cruel in someone else fool you into thinking that this is how it will always be, not true. Maybe this is the Universe getting you out of a bad relationship so that you will, at the right time be able to find the true love you so deserve!!! Trust me, it is possible!
