Not free

Feeling lost at sea

Stuck in prison

Someone help me

No shore to swim too

No cries heard

Four walls hold me

Bound

Screams echoing off the cold ground

Shivering

Handcuffs around my wrists

Can not breathe

Claustrophobic

No escape

My heart breaks

The warden imposed this

Upon me

Life sentence

My blue green eyes

Tears building

Looking out the small window

Of this prison cell

A life i was close to owning

Dreams dreamt

Fleeting by

Hear me cry

Someone save me

Locked up!!

  3. OMG Nikki!!! You’ve driven me to tears, Sweet Lady!!! Your words are breaking my heart! Your words are so haunting and painful they burned my eyes reading them and made me feel your broken heart too!!
    You’re in the darkness of your cell ,and you feel alone, but it’s not really true. You may not see me beside you , but I’m right there with You. My Soul will be with You in the darkness and sit with you in the solitude until You are set free and
    can soar and find true happiness. I am here for You as I promised, if only in Spirit. You are not alone, You are not forgotten! You are loved by me, and others. You are strong and will not let your spirit or soul be conquered or imprisoned. He can chain your body but Your heart and Soul will always be free and true to the real You! My hear aches to know that you are suffering and if I were Superman I would set You free. But until the chains are broken and the handcuffs removed and time sets you free. Remember You may feel alone, but it’s not really true. You may not see me beside you, but I’m right there with You. My soul will always be with You!!!

    This is what I wrote for those Kindred Spirits who cannot be separated by time and space – those of us who live in each other’s heart – “THE BOND REMAINS UNBROKEN”. I will be the dove that patiently sits in your window everyday waiting for your release so we can fly away to a life of freedom. Do not feel alone. Dearest Nikki!! –

I hate the thought of Your pain and tears while writing this!!
