LETTING GO
By Nichole Sulpizio And Charles Robert Lindholm
She Heard The Door
Firmly Shut Behind Her
Then Slowly Turned Around
To Take A Final Look
As The Whisper From Her Heart
Said,
“Sometimes
There Is No Going Back”
Tears Welled Up In Her Eyes
But She Gently Wiped Them Away
As She Softly Bit Her Lip
And Took The First Steps
Into A New Life
Sometimes
Goodbye
And Letting Go
Is The Only Way
Your Heart Will
Feel Like Dancing
Again

Chuck thank you that means a lot…it takes all you have to make these choices and the pain is immense…even when you make a choice for the better the vows you took meant something
With me my words I hold truth and value..if I say I love you I mean it…if I say I need you I mean it…it i say i am sorry i mean it..if I say I want you I mean it…I hold my words and heart in high regard thank you for all that you said β€xoxo π

Many thanks to Nichole for the joy and honor of writing with her! She makes collaborating a real thrill – getting two minds working together!! If you haven’t tried collaboration try it sometime. Having someone write something because you left a seed of inspiration is amazing but to have someone to share that process with you in real time is bliss!!! Thank you, Dear Nichole for the privilege, honor and joy of birthing this poem together. Can’t wait to try – More!!!
xoxo

Yes, Letting Go is not for sissys! Someone really has to have inner strength to let go of someone/something they have made a part of themselves and their life and move on!!! I know these words will reach out and touch the hearts of those who need to know them most! Thanks for letting me be on Your Team!!!
xoxo

I have a male friend in this position. Letting go is incredibly hard in many sorts of places–

Over and over and over this is what I keep hearing. Stop worrying about every and anything and just let it go, let it be, or whichever song you prefer!

Sometimes we do need to close one door, before the next door opens for us.
