Turkeys take over NJ..🤣 Yes, it is true where I live, In my state we live among the turkeys 😂😂 click on video below

A fellow blogger and I had a discussion a while back and he was blown away by the fact turkeys and NJ residents coexist. In fact we are so use to our neighbors the turkeys as they walk along our yards, cross our highways, in flocks all over the garden state!

We do however get chased if we are on foot or if they see there reflections In our cars they peck our vehicles..they cause traffic jams and chaos and since we live among them I refuse to eat my neighbors…ham is a staple in my house on Thanksgiving 🤣🤣 besides I had one turkey over the summer frequent my front yard!

Lee, a fellow blogger watched on you tube how much the state is affected although even for me the videos are hilarious it can be quite chaotic here sometimes..and although I find them interesting and stop daily to watch them I will not get out of my jeep to get too close..so lee here is a up and close real video from this morning 😊

  5. They are crazy creatures! People don’t realise how aggressive they are..or that they have been known to kill and eat small dogs who get in the way of the flock. In my Oregon area, they are around, but not like in yours!

    1. Oh yes I have seen them get aggressive ..did not know they eat small dogs that is scary my daughter has a miniature poodle..you have them too? I thought it’s insane having turkeys wondering locally growing up I never saw a Turkey just walking the streets..in nj they are everywhere!! In nj we dont think twice there just a normal everyday animal here..I think it’s because we cut down so many trees animals dont have the habitats they use too

      1. They don’t wander streets here-they do hang out in yards near the wheat fields now and then. Depends on how much snow is around as to where they migrate to. Kind of like deer and elk-BUT, in town it is pretty boring as to wild life.

I love the turkeys however I have watched people get chased as they have no fear of humans because we coexist..I watched a teenager run around his car trying to get away when the turkey refused to budge and get out of the way he chased this kid in circles..it was hysterical and scary 🤣🤣 they have also broke through windows and ended up in people’s houses..I have had one come close my jeep at a red light I was so worried he would see his reflection and start packing my new jeep
