Under The Covers Written By Nichole Sulpizio

Late in the evening

Heavy breathing

She longs for the sound of his voice

Under the covers

Tucked away from the world

Masking the place she is in

To feel his light again

Before the phone rings

Her heartbeats loud

Each thump a deep breath expelled

Composing herself

In an erotic state

He says her name

She whispers i ache

For you

In your entirety

Quickly quiet he becomes

Heightened by her tone

He grasps onto every word

Never heard before

Losing ground

To a woman

He craves so much

To kiss

Both unable to control

These feeling they hold

Before long

Moments gone

Both know they have to go

Being left in a climatic state

Under the covers

    1. Thank you so much S 😊 I think I agree with you! It comes from deep inside an ache a hunger that words can not describe as it is powerful but also painful waiting to be fulfilled. She needs they need each other and the waiting is indescribable.

      1. Yes, so true … funny analogy about the fire extinguisher. 🔥 The purest passion is when it’s burning on all levels, and not simply physical… only then is it sustainable … those so deeply involved can’t breathe without the other .., then the other takes their breath away … the dichotomy of love

      2. We’re never alone … Love is the most ample element in God’s Grace … the trouble is … people fear Love … when they don’t understand it … they refuse to share it or even receive it … I’m not afraid of Love
