In today’s society everyone feels the need to hide underneath a mask, not showing their true colors and inner beauty because of what the world defines as perfection! There is no perfect person in this world, we all have flaws and radiating our inner selves takes confidence and strength. To be true to yourself is not to fall short for what the world defines we should be. I believe we need to stay authentic to what we believe and stay true to who we are inside and what our heart says we are! I always let my heart guide me!
I personally , say how i feel, good or bad, just politely. 🙂 I speak my mind, speak honestly, and am not afraid to tell someone how i feel or what i am thinking! I have a very playful, attractive personality that i do not feel the need to hide. Around certain people i am full of life and energy and i let that shine! Of course, i care how i am perceived, however, i will not let anyone change my views or change my character, the world does not define me, i define me!
In other words if i like you, care about you, or want to get to know you i will let that show. If i dislike something , i too will say so. I am not worried what someone may think about my honesty, i am more afraid to hide underneath a mask. More afraid to never say what i think, what i believe! Some may find this intimidating, being secure and confident is scary to some. That does not mean i do not have fears of the unknown or the future it just means i fear more of not saying what i want too or need too, and regret, well that scares me the most!
So how can you spot someone who may be fake, i think it is in there smile, there eyes, there tone of voice. There giggles, low tones, whispering. People who are envious, critical, insecure, jealous that shows! Real people just have a honesty about them a genuine demeanor and just are kind and humble to all!! I leave you with this, be you, 100% you, not worrying about letting your true self shine, Take off the mask, life is hard but it is even harder when you have to hide the real you in a fake world! Let others be fake let your world be real!! 💋

Hi Tony! 🙂 yes not everyone is real nor genuine but i see it this way it starts with me and who i am how i act as I can only be real and only hope that those i come in contact with can be as real to me as i to them!! 🙂

I think the world has become afraid more and more of the truth. This gives the fake people a great place to thrive and social media helps with this, sometimes they’re hard to spot but it’s the actions rather than words that tell.

Agree! It is a shame that society is this way so I try to be true to myself and stay as real as I can. I cant change society but I can present myself honestly as who I am. And I wish more of the youth these days would not be so scared to just be themselves whatever that is and I agree about social media and actions speaking louder then words!
